Thomas K. Brown was born in Las Vegas, NV in 1969. His parents relocated, and he grew up in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Florida in 1991, and received J.D. degree from the University of Florida College of Law in 1994. After graduating from law school, Mr. Brown accepted a position as an Assistant State Attorney with the Twentieth Judicial Circuit in Fort Myers, Florida. During his three years with the prosecutor’s office, Mr. Brown tried over thirty five jury trials including cases involving first degree murder, attempted murder, aggravated battery, vehicular homicide, DUI manslaughter, sexual battery, and numerous other felony, misdemeanor and traffic offenses. In 1998, Mr. Brown moved to the Orlando area and began practicing civil litigation including cases involving automobile accidents, nursing home abuse, premises liability, commercial litigation and general civil litigation. Mr. Brown has extensive litigation experience throughout Central Florida and has tried cases in Volusia, Brevard, Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Alachua, Hillsborough and Pasco Counties. He now uses his extensive personal injury litigation experience in representing those injured through the negligence of others. Mr. Brown is a member of the Florida Bar, the Orange County Bar Association, the Seminole County Bar Association and the Seminole County Inns of Court. He has also been recognized by the Orange County Legal Aid Society for donating substantial time to represent children who are victims of abuse and/or neglect. Mr. Brown is married, and his wife is also an attorney. They live in Orlando, Florida and have one daughter. |
